Art Project 5: Starbucks Cup
When I saw the holiday cup it reminded me of a blank canvas, so I drew cross-snowflakes and other symbols for Christmas.

Art Project 7: Scentsy Skulls
These skulls used to melt scented wax were given to me. I did 2 different ones -a card themed one and one the represented my head and what imprints you would see on it if thoughts left a mark. Lots of nature :)

Art Project 8: Cross Design
My friend is a Christian minister and wanted to make an eBook for other ministers that was about "how to turn your church into a home church". So I made an image for his eBook that had the crown of thorns turn into a nest the Bird of Peace/Holy Spirit then rested upon. It represents sacrifice and suffering changing into a home. I drew the image, went over it in pen, and then uploaded it to Illustrator.

Art Project 9: Foam Art Series
The whole process started because I noticed a big empty space above my bed I wanted to fill with spiritual artwork to match the other paintings I have in my room. I saw foam board at the Dollar Tree and wanted to try working with it. Also bought a white and silver bird there that reminded me of the Holy Spirit and also wanted to see what I could create around it. The "wings" of the piece were designed after the arches in the headboard of my bed. The heart with a crown on the top represents Jesus being the "King of Love". The sun in the center represents God -which I usually depict with either an "All Seeing Eye" or as the "Sun and the Moon". The white bird on top is the Holy Spirit resting in the center. I came to find afterwards that the triangle piece in the center is actually ME. My colors have always been purple, blue, and turquoise/green and that's what colors came about in the process. I also used metallic paint, glitter, and beads. I plan on making more in the future...
