The Promote Her Business Logo
My friend Jos Hanan created a group called Promote Her Business (www.PromoteHerBusiness.com) to help women entrepreneu-hers gain the support and knowledge needed to maintain, promote, and grow their businesses. "Just because you're in business for yourself doesn't mean you have to be in business by yourself".
I wanted the logo to reflect Women (hence the symbol for Female) and Promotion (the radiating waves). The colors I chose for her business were purple/pink (for power and women) and orange/gold (for success and action).

NGE Logo
Jos also wanted to have 2 events per year that would show case women in business, as well as promoting their Well-being and Favorite Causes. She titled these events "The Next Generation of Entrepreneu-hers" because she wanted seasoned women who have successfully run their business over 5 years to mentor up-and-coming women who are just starting their business.
Social Media Banners
Here are some of the Twitter/Facebook/Google+/Meetup banners I created for PHB.
4 Blogs
Promote Her Business features 4 types of blogs, so I created for Blog logos to represent each one. The 1st blog is Business-oriented and gives advice from different women with regard to promoting and growing your business. The 2nd blog focuses on promoting women's well-being (health, spirituality, exercise...). The 3rd blog focuses on supporting and contributing to women's favorite causes. The 4th blog is for featured memb-hers of Promote Her Business.
8 Ways in 8 Days
8 videos were taken featuring successful business women giving advice in different areas of life -including business, well-being, and favorite causes. The videos were then sent out (one per week) to those who signed up on the Promote Her Business website.
The Promote Event
In July PHB hosted The Promote Event which consisted of 6 successful business women giving advice on how to promote your business in different areas of expertise.
Regular Events and Networking Meetings Part 1
I was asked to create 3 logos for different types of upcoming events. The 1st needed to convey the message of collaboration/networking. The 2nd needed to convey Leadership. The last one needed to convey Promotion/Success.
Jos gave me some feedback and said that the logo for collaboration/networking didn't give the right message with balloons -too party, not enough business. For the Leader logo, she wanted less people and the arrow to be more clearly understood. For the Success logo, she was confused about the balloon again and said it was her least favorite -which I agreed. Here are the 2 adjusted logos:
